According to Barron's, UBS announced a leadership change in Florida, appointing Lane Strumlauf as the new market executive. John Mathews, division director of UBS Wealth Management Americas and head of Private Wealth Management, shared the news with employees in an internal memo.
Strumlauf, who succeeds Brad Smithy, brings 17 years of experience with UBS to his new role. Previously, he served as the market executive for UBS's Atlanta market. In his new position, Strumlauf will oversee nearly 600 employees across more than 20 offices in Florida.
