The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has elected Terri Kallsen as its 2025 board chair-elect. Liz Miller, the current chair-elect, will chair the board in 2025, with Kallsen stepping into the role in 2026.
As reported by ThinkAdvisor, Kallsen joined the CFP Board as a director in 2022. She currently chairs the Finance and Investment Committee and has held significant roles such as former chair of the Audit Committee and member of the Governance Committee. Additionally, Kallsen is a frequent presenter at Certificant Connection events.
Kallsen serves as a senior operating partner at Rise Growth Partners and previously was chief operating officer at Wealth Enhancement Group. Her previous experience also includes serving as executive vice president of investor services at Charles Schwab, where she led 7,000 employees, increased CFP designations, and streamlined financial planning in Schwab's retail branches.
